Biography 'I am particularly interested in creatures that polarise or have difficult, complex histories involving their interactions with humans and the processes of remembering by recording traces and liminal states.'
Maree lives on a small rural property within the farming community of the Goulburn valley. She works in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting and sculptural ceramics. Her recent work involves how animal imagery can be viewed and interpreted through museum display. She has exhibited throughout Victoria and has published work in America. Her most recent work involves environmental research and processes of extinction.
